How Online Recovery Meetings Work
For many, the most difficult part of the recovery process is the transition from treatment or rehabilitation centers back to everyday living, and one of the leading causes of relapse is a failure to follow prescribed continuum of care programs or discharge plans.
Our Bridging Programs are designed to make this transition as smooth and successful as possible. Members participate in group sessions, providing recommended structure and accountability combined with a sense of connectivity as they transition into everyday life.
By providing useful life skills and resources in addition to traditional recovery principles, our programs help participants create solutions to typical triggers and problem areas. Additional online materials and contacts for local treatment centers, groups and other resources provide additional support throughout the recovery process.
Another feature of The Bridges Network is our active social network, providing participants a place to connect, share and facilitate in the recovery of others. This network allows participants to share stories, ask questions, provide information and create bonds with others in their groups, from their treatment facilities, friends, families and more, adding further support to their recovery efforts.
For those in greater risk of relapse or with special licensing, legal or employer requirements, our optional Plus services provide even greater accountability. Our representatives will develop a program to monitor the participant’s progress, with regular testing and compliance updates. We will also act as an advocate for successful members, maintaining contact with employers, legal representatives or licensing agencies.
