Treatment for Substance Abuse is difficult and uncomfortable. It is common for new clients to want to leave, more particularly in the beginning. Communicating that you are fully committed to the recommended full course of treatment and its completion will be very helpful to an individual learning to adjust in treatment and start on the important work he or she will need to do to maintain sobriety.
If someone you know is already in a treatment program, The Bridges Network can provide the support they need to succeed. Often, the most difficult stage of the recovery process is the transition from treatment programs back into everyday living. Without the structured environment, ongoing support and accountability of an ongoing recovery program, as many as 50% can relapse within the first year. The Bridges Network offers licensed extended care online recovery community, where people who have completed residential inpatient substance abuse treatment or Intensive Out Patient Programs can continue their recovery program anywhere in the country. Our innovative programs combine virtual classrooms, individual private sessions and addiction treatment recovery communities to provide support, structure and accountability throughout the transition from addiction treatment to recovery. The key to this program's success is the ability to participate in online group sessions and individual mentoring with real-time voice and video chat. Participants can experience the same connection and accountability they have with face-to-face counseling and meetings, increasing commitment to their prescribed programs. Studies show that individuals, who participate in addiction treatment and recovery longer, enjoy greater success in sobriety. See How It Works or Get Started
